Regulator Tightens Toy Rules, Kids’ Fidget Toys Require CCC
China’s market regulator issues new rules: fluid squeeze toys, granular stress balls and perler beads for kids under 14 need mandatory CCC certification. Recycled plastic is banned, with age labels and safety warnings required on all products.
Spot checks show less than 60% of cheap unbranded fidget toys pass tests, with risks of oil leakage, fading and excessive heavy metals. Rising raw material and testing costs drive manufacturers to build certified brands.
All kids’ toys of PLAYGORO are printed with its logo, with raw material inspection and double finished-product tests, complete CCC, REACH and CPSC documents to avoid quality and customs risks for domestic schools and overseas buyers. Industry insiders predict unqualified low-end capacity will be phased out, while certified standardized brands hold long-term advantages.
